Spero Chumas is a native New Yorker with over 20 years of acting and improv experience. His craft has been honed through films, commercials and on the stages of New York City, Los Angeles and Atlanta.

Spero has a sensitive and vibrant approach to material and an unparalleled passion that immediately sets him apart from his peers. He has a masterful understanding of modern acting theory, which he employs every time he works, and a deep respect and appreciation for his predecessors. 

Favorite recent projects include: the award-winning feature "Nothing in Los Angeles," Cannes International Film Festival feature "As Worlds Collide" and the groundbreaking HDR film "Emma," directed by former Disney VP Howard Lukk, shot by ASC president Daryn Okada and edited by Oscar Nominee Douglas Crise. 

He is a graduate of Castleton State College in Vermont with a BA in Theatre. When Spero is not acting, writing, or throwing darts, (he's a NYDO trophy holder) you can catch him at the picture show or the ballgame.
